This policy explains what information HardHat Quote ("we") collects when you use hardhatquote.com and how we use it.

Using templates without an account

When you fill in a template without signing in, the document stays in your browser. It is saved in your browser's local storage so you don't lose your work, and the PDF is generated on your device. We do not receive the contents.

Information we store when you create an account

• Your email address and a salted hash of your password (we never store the password itself).
• The documents, clients, price list items and business details you choose to save.
• Subscription status received from our payment provider.
• When a customer opens or approves a document you shared: the time, and the name they typed to approve it.

Payments

Payments are processed by Creem, which acts as our merchant of record. We never see or store your card details. Creem's own privacy policy applies to the payment information you give them.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

How we use information

To provide the service, keep your account secure, process subscriptions, respond to support requests and send essential account emails such as password resets. We do not sell your data.

Service providers

We host the service on Cloudflare and use Creem for payments. They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Your rights

You can export your data or delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account removes your documents, clients and price list. If you have questions, contact support@hardhatquote.com.
